Question / Issue
SMTP Server information for Verizon Wireless

Answer / Solution

If your LAN-Cell is connected to the Verizon Wireless network, you can use their SMTP server to have the LAN-Cell send its log files.

You must first register for an account with Verizon Wireless at: http://vtext.com

After registering (it may take up to 12 hours for your account to become active), use the following information in the LAN-Cell Log Settings screen:

SMTP Sever: smtp.vzwmail.net
Username: 10digitphonenumber@vzwmail.net  (MDN assigned to your modem card)
Password: vtext password created above
