Question / Issue
Modem name shown in firmware is different than my actual modem model

Answer / Solution
Modem manufacturers often sell the same device to different cellular operators using different model numbers.  If the LAN-Cell recognizes your modem as any of these variants, it will work.  The modem model name displayed by the firmware is for informational purposes only.

Some common examples:

The Novatel CC760 is the PC-770 on Verizon Wireless and the C777 on Sprint

The Pantech PX-500 is the PC5750 on Verizon Wireless and the PX-500 on Sprint
