Modem manufacturers often sell the same device to different cellular operators using different model numbers. If the LAN-Cell recognizes your modem as any of these variants, it will work. The modem model name displayed by the firmware is for informational purposes only.
Some common examples:
The Novatel CC760 is the PC-770 on Verizon Wireless and the C777 on Sprint
The Pantech PX-500 is the PC5750 on Verizon Wireless and the PX-500 on Sprint
