Starting with PocketPORT firmware version 1.5.2, users may update the firmware on their PocketPORTs by downloading the latest firmware image (see link below) and clicking the "Upgrade Firmware" link at the bottom of the PocketPORT's Configuration page.

Updating firmware is a 2 step process.  First select and upload the firmware file obtained from the Proxicast web site.  Then initiate the firmware flashing process.  This process takes 45-60 seconds.  A confirmation message will be displayed in the web browser and the PocketPORT will reboot.  No configuration settings are affected by upgrading the firmware.

Note: Each PocketPORT requires its own firmware image file based on its serial number.

If your PocketPORT is currently running a version of firmware prior to 1.5.2, the PocketPORT must be returned to Proxicast for a free firmware upgrade.
