|Question / Issue|
|Can the X.509 certificate name contain spaces?|
|Answer / Solution|
|The Subject components of an X.509 certificate (e.g. CN, O, OU, DC, etc.) may contain spaces.
However, the operating system file name of the certificate to be imported may not connect spaces. This file name will be used as the inital descriptive name of the certificate.
You can modify the descriptive name by selecting the certificate and pressing the Details button. The descriptive name that you assign to the certificate in the LAN-Cell's firmware cannot contain spaces. This name is not part of the certificate nor is it transmitted with the certificate.
