In general, the answer is No.
WAP data services are typically limited by the cellular carrier and do not provide the full IP networking services required for proper operation of the LAN-Cell and PocketPORT. WAP services are often bundled with cellular voice service plans; the LAN-Cell & PocketPORT do not support voice services. Typically, you will want to request an unrestricted packet data only service plan from the cellular carrier.
