Question / Issue
Where do I configure the static IP addresses assigned to my modem by the cellular carrier?

Answer / Solution
Almost all cellular carriers assign "static" IP addresses by using "Mobile IP" to repeatedly assign the same IP address to your modem regardless of where it connects to their network.  The Mobile IP assignment process is the same as DHCP - you are just guaranteed to get the same IP address each time (sometimes also called static DHCP or DHCP resevervation).

From the LAN-Cell and PocketPORT's perspective, Dynamic IP and Mobile IP are handled the same way.  On the Wireless > Cellular screen, select Get Automatically from ISP in the WAN Assignment section.
