Question / Issue
How to find the LAN-Cell's MAC addresses.

Answer / Solution

On the LAN-Cell models 1xMG-401 and GPRS-401, the LAN and WAN MAC addresses are printed on the device label on the underside of the unit.

For the LAN-Cell2 (LC2-411), the LAN MAC address is printed on the device label.

The LAN-Cell 2 actually has 4 MAC addresses, all in sequence:

1. LAN
2. WAN
3. DMZ
4. WLAN

Hover your mouse over the LAN/WAN/DMZ/WLAN lines in the lower left box on the Home page to see the MAC's.

Note: Cellular does not have a MAC address.  It uses the ESN or IMEI from the PC-Card which is displayed in the Cellular Interface Status window.

On all LAN-Cell models you can also determine the MAC addresses using the Systems Management Terminal (SMT) interface via Telnet.  Choose menu option 24 (System Maintenace) then option 1 (System Status) to observe the MAC address assigned to each interface.
