Works As Hard As You Do
More than just a "HotSpot in a box", the Cell-PAK is a 3G wireless mobile communications center. The Cell-PAK is a rugged, self-contained, battery-powered, portable WiFi HotSpot with 3G cellular Internet access. Its impact and water-resistant plastic case and on-board power pack are designed for prolonged operation in harsh environments.

The Cell-PAK features an intelligent power management system that provides 10+ hours of continuous battery operation on a single charge (runtime depends on many factors and may range from 10 to 16+ hours). It operates on 12-24 VDC and can be powered by AC, DC, vehicle or solar power and recharges while in operation. External antenna jacks provide additional flexibility for maximizing both cellular and Wi-Fi signal reception in even the most challenging situations.

The Cell-PAK is specifically designed for the award winning Proxicast LAN-Cell 2 3G cellular router. It delivers the same unmatched flexibility and security for wireless communications. The Cell-PAK is available with an integrated LAN-Cell 2 3G cellular router or as an accessory for existing LAN-Cell 2 3G cellular routers.

The LAN-Cell 2 is a high-performance, commercial-grade, upgradeable, 3G mobile router with a built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g wireless access point that allows multiple PC's, laptops, handhelds, web-cams, POS terminals, and other Ethernet-based devices to simultaneously utilize a single cellular data connection.

The LAN‑Cell 2 3G router supports today's fastest 3G cellular standards, such as EV‑DO Rev(A) and HSDPA / HSUPA. With some 3G services offering bandwidths of over 1,000 Kbps downstream and 500 Kbps upstream, many applications requiring broadband performance can now “go cellular”.

And with its 3G wireless modem PC‑Card architecture, the LAN‑Cell 2 is a mobile router that is carrier independent and can easily be upgraded as newer and faster cellular technologies, such as 4G, LTE and WiMAX become available.
