Card-GuardTM Pig-Tails To use the LAN-Cell 2's Card-Guard PC-Card protection system, you must have a short coax "pig-tail" cable that connects between the PC-Card modem in the LAN-Cell and the Card-Guard enclosure. It is this pig-tail that provides the external antenna connection for the 3G PC-Card modem. Pig-tails are specific to the model of PC-Card modem you're using. Antennas & Mounts Proxicast stocks a wide selection of cellular and WiFi antennas. Proxicast offers external magnetic, fixed mount, low-profile, vehicular and marine antennas to meet a variety of application requirements. Most of our cellular antennas have an SMA connector pre-installed for easy attachement to the LAN-Cell's external antenna jack.

3G PC-Card Modems Proxicast can provide you with a complete "turn-key" solution including 3G PC-Card modems and service on selected carriers. We have "unlocked" GSM PC-Card cellular modems for use on any GSM carrier worldwide and CDMA PC-Card modems for U.S. carriers. The LAN-Cell 2 supports a range of EVDO Rev A, EVDO Rev 0, 1xRTT, HSPUA, HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS PC-Card wireless modems.

VPN Client Software The Proxicast VPN Client is a software VPN IPSec solution that allows a user to establish a secure connection to remote LAN-Cell devices over the Internet. Signal Amplifiers For locations with weak cellular signal strength, a cellular signal amplifier may be required in addition to a high-gain antenna. Signal amplifiers are also helpful in mobile applications where the vehicle may move in and out of strong coverage areas. Proxicast carries the complete line of Wilson Electronics gear -- the industry's leading supplier of cellular signal amplifiers. Our kits include everything you need to connect the amplifier to your LAN-Cell.

Serial Device Servers If you need to connect serial (RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485) devices to the LAN-Cell cellular router, then use a Serial Device Server (serial-to-Ethernet converter). The SENA product line includes low-cost single-port and advanced multi-port device servers for both wired and WiFi wireless connection to the LAN-Cell. These device servers include all of the cabling and software you need to access your serial devices over the cellular Internet.

Power Options Every LAN-Cell includes a 110-240 VAC to 12 VDC power adapter with standard U.S. wall plug prongs. An international plug adapter kit is also available. As a 12 VDC device, the LAN-Cell can also be powered using a vehicle (cigarette lighter) adapter, battery or solar cell. We have specialized power cords for all of these applications. We also stock high-quality InterVOLT 12 VDC and 24 VDC isolated power conditioners to ensure that your direct DC source (vehicle, battery, generator, etc.) provides clean, stable power to the LAN-Cell.

Cables & Connectors Need a longer antenna cable or SMA converter for an existing antenna? We stock many common antenna mounting and conversion supplies.

Replacement Parts All of the standard LAN-Cell mobile 3G router accessories such as power supplies, cables and mounting hardware are available as replacement parts.
