The Proxicast LAN-Cell Mobile Gateway is a rugged, enterprise-grade cellular router that allows multiple PC's, laptops, webcams, controllers, PLCs, and other Ethernet-based devices to simultaneously utilize a single cellular data account for primary or backup connectivity. Since its introduction in 2003, LAN-Cells have been working around the world as a cost effective way to communicate with remote devices and users.

The LAN-Cell has advanced routing and security features typically found only in enterprise-grade routers costing thousands more. The LAN-Cell provides seamless Internet connectivity and unmatched security to devices that were never designed for connection to the Internet, such as sensors, data loggers, PLCs, ATMs, and traffic controls. All without requiring any additional software or configuration on your remote equipment. The LAN-Cell's NAT and advanced rule-based SPI firewall provide security and policy enforcement for all remote devices and users.

Full VPN Client & Easy Management
The built-in VPN client & server eliminates the need to configure individual devices and extends your secure corporate network to devices that cannot run VPN client software. The LAN-Cell is compatible with all major IPSec VPN and PKI/Certificate products and can initiate or terminate 2 simultaneous VPN tunnels. The LAN-Cell also has easy-to-use web and telnet management interfaces - plus SNMP support for enterprise management.

Ships Complete - Ready To Run
Each LAN-Cell mobile router ships complete with "nothing else to buy" and is "ready to run" right out of the box. The LAN-Cell includes your choice of an integrated CDMA 1x or GSM/GPRS modem module - there are no PC cards to buy, program, or fall out . Proxicast can even activate the LAN-Cell on your choice of cellular carriers. The package includes the LAN-Cell Mobile Gateway, external antenna, power supply, cables and documentation.
