The Proxicast LAN-Cell 2 3G
cellular router is ideally suited to provide remote
connectivity for one or more traffic cameras
at a location whether your installation is permanent
or project-driven. Ethernet-based IP cameras can be
connected directly to one of the LAN-Cell's 4 Ethernet
LAN ports and WiFi cameras can be connected to
the LAN-Cell 2's built-in 802.11 a/b/g
Access Point. The LAN-Cell makes it easy to quickly
set up and access your cameras over the Internet.
Economical Deployment for Highway Monitoring
Far more than just a modem. the LAN-Cell lets you use just one cellular data account to provide communications
for all of the traffic cameras and related highway monitoring
equipment at a site. The LAN-Cell enables you to easily combine communications for cameras with data feeds for
meteorological stations, roadway sensors and even electronic warning message signs.

and Card-Guard
features ensure that the cellular PC-Card modem is not
damaged or removed unintentionally.

cellular router offers Ethernet, wireless WiFi (802.11
a/b/g) and serial interfaces plus advanced enterprise
mobile router features such as multiple IPSec VPN tunnels,
NAT/DMZ, SPI firewall, X.509 certificates, bandwidth
management and other wireless router functions which
are optimized for corporate, financial, mobile in vehicle,
industrial automation, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) telemetry
and SCADA type remote cellular WWAN applications. The
LAN-Cell 2 is also a great satellite data link alternative
or backup for Low Earth Orbit - LEO (ORBCOMM, Iridium,
Globalstar) and VSAT (HughesNet, Starband) satellite
