Mission Critical Wireless Communications
The Cell-PAK is excellent for commercial, industrial, law enforcement, public safety or military use. Designed as a "grab & go" wireless solution, the Cell-PAK provides mobile 3G cellular Internet connectivity and local 802.11 a/b/g WiFi wireless access in an easy-to-deploy portable form-factor.
More than just a "HotSpot in a box", the Cell-PAK is a mobile communications center. The Cell-PAK is a rugged, self-contained, battery-powered, portable WiFi HotSpot with 3G cellular Internet access. Its impact and water-resistant plastic case and on-board power are designed for prolonged operation in harsh environments.
The Cell-PAK features an intelligent power management system that provides 10+ hours of continuous operation on a single charge (runtime depends on many factors and may range from 10-16+ hours). It operates on 12-24 VDC and can be powered by AC, DC, vehicle or solar power and recharges while in operation. External antenna jacks provide additional flexibility for maximizing wireless signal reception in even the most challenging situations.

PC-Card (PCMCIA) cellular modems are sold separately on a carrier-by-carrier basis and are required for cellular/wireless network access using the LAN-Cell 2 3G cellular router. Contact Proxicast Sales for more information.
The LAN-Cell 2 supports GSM GPRS EDGE UMTS HSDPA HSUPA CDMA CDMA2000 1x 1xRTT EV-DO (EVDO) Rev 0 EV-DO (EVDO) Rev A. standards.
You do not have purchase a cellular modem card from Proxicast.
