For firmware versions prior to v1.6.7, any required additional configuration parameters must be re-entered every time the PocketPORT configuration is saved.
Comments	*** Support for this modem requires PocketPORT firmware version 1.4 or later. Configure the PocketPORT before inserting the USB modem. After writing the configuration parameters to persistent memory, power off the PocketPORT, insert the USB modem and power the PocketPORT back on. Signal strength will not display until the required modem configuration parameters have been saved and the PocketPORT is restarted.
