ezOutlet5-2R features 2 independently controllable AC outlets and an OLED showing device network information facilitating troubleshooting when on site.

ezOutlet5-2R can supply a maximum combined 2.5A (275W) of power to its outlets and is intended for use with low-power equipment such as modems, SOHO routers, IP cameras, Wi-Fi APs, switches, NAS or IoT devices.   1. Plug the ezOutlet's power cord into a wall outlet or UPS
  2. Plug your modem & router's power adapters into the ezOutlet
  3. Install the ezDevice app from your app store on your phone or tablet and use it to automatically connect the ezOutletto your Wi-Fi network via a Bluetooth connection - or - Plug an Ethernet cable between the ezOutletand your router and go to Cloud4UIS.com to add the ezOutletby serial number
  4. Press and hold the Function button next to the Ethernet port on the ezOutletuntil the Outlet Status screen is shown; press twice more to select Auto Reset, then hold the button down for 2 seconds to enable the Internet monitoring function
  5. Now when the ezOutletdetects that it cannot access the Internet, it will cycle power to your modem & router

 

You can also use the ezDevice app, Cloud4UIS web site, or the ezOutlet's internal web server to adjust various settings to meet your needs such as changing how many times the ezOutlet will restart a device, how long it takes to determine an Internet outage, or to schedule regular on-off cycles.

ezOutlet firmware updates are installed automatically using the ezDevice app.  The New Firmware Alert icon  will display when new firmware is released. Follow the instructions in ezDevice.
