The UIS-801 MSNswitch Max features two individually controllable outlets encased in a fire-resistant plastic housing. Designed for autonomous operation, it can resolve network issues without outside intervention. Once setup, it continuously monitors connectivity and automatically resets devices if connectivity is lost, significantly reducing the need for manual attention, truck rolls, and costly downtimes.

MSNswitch Max will automatically ping up to 7 different preset targets, which can be changed - if they are unreachable, MSNswitch Max will power-cycle one or both AC outlets. Power cycles can also be scheduled in advance. Plus, you can control everything from your smartphone!

Firmware Updates

MSNswitch MAX firmware can be updated via Cloud4UIS.com, ezDevice, the device's internal web server or Netility.

The latest firmware is: MNX.5834 Released on Oct. 30, 2025. 

New firmware image files can also be downloaded from https://www.msnswitch.com/

Please be advised that firmware upgrades are undertaken at user's discretion and risk.

  1. While the firmware is upgrading, the device LEDs will blink. DO NOT POWER OFF THE DEVICE during this time!
  2. Upgrading from old firmware may take approximately 15 to 20 min. Please be patient.
  3. The outlet status will remain unchanged throughout the upgrade process.
  4. A successful and completed upgrade is confirmed when user login page becomes accessible again.
  5. WARNING: Interrupting the power supply or network connection at any time before the login page appears can result in the device becoming permanently inoperable.
