MSNSwitch2 will automatically ping up to 7 different preset targets, which can be changed - if they are unreachable, MSNSwitch2 will power-cycle one or both AC outlets. Power cycles can also be scheduled in advance. Plus, you can control everything from your smartphone!

Firmware Updates

MSNSwitch firmware can be updated via the device's internal web server, Netility or ezDevice.  The latest firmware is: MNU.4623 Released on Dec. 11, 2024. 

The firmware image file can also be downloaded from https://www.msnswitch.com/

Please be advised that firmware upgrades are undertaken at user's discretion and risk.

  1. While the firmware is upgrading, the device LEDs will blink. DO NOT POWER OFF THE DEVICE during this time!
  2. Upgrading from old firmware may take approximately 15 to 20 min. Please be patient.
  3. The outlet status will remain unchanged throughout the upgrade process.
  4. CAUTION: This is a major version upgrade. DO NOT refer to the progress bar in User Interface (UI) as indicator for completion.
  5. A successful and completed upgrade is confirmed when user login page becomes accessible again.
  6. WARNING: Interrupting the power supply or network connection at any time before the login page appears can result in the device becoming permanently inoperable.
